About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Branch Manager with strong expertise in ISO tank logistics, chemical supply chain solutions, and global freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of commercial leadership, operational oversight, and industry-specific knowledge in ISO tank transportation, chemical logistics, and specialized cargo handling. This individual will lead regional sales strategy, drive sustainable revenue growth, oversee operational performance, and develop a high-performing commercial and operations team. Experience managing complex logistics solutions for chemical, petrochemical, liquid bulk, or hazardous materials customers is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Leadership

  • Lead regional sales strategy and drive revenue growth across ISO tank logistics, ocean freight, and specialized chemical supply chain solutions.
  • Develop and expand strategic customer relationships within chemical, petrochemical, industrial, and global import/export sectors.
  • Drive profitability through pricing optimization, carrier negotiations, tank utilization management, and disciplined cost control.
  • Establish sales pipelines, forecasting processes, and KPI tracking to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in ISO tank, liquid bulk, dangerous goods (DG), and specialized logistics markets.
  • Expand key trade lanes and customer portfolios through strategic partnerships and tailored logistics solutions.
  • Negotiate and maintain commercial relationships with carriers, tank operators, depots, trucking providers, and global logistics partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and freight market conditions to support strategic business decisions.

Operational & Performance Excellence

  • Oversee regional operational performance to ensure service reliability, compliance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper execution of ISO tank operations, including tank allocation, depot coordination, hazardous cargo handling, and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and overseas offices to optimize service quality and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and operations team focused on ISO tank and freight forwarding services.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centric service excellence.
  • Provide structured coaching, sales training, and career development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Support talent acquisition, succession planning, and organizational growth initiatives across the region.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8 years of leadership experience in global freight forwarding, ISO tank logistics, chemical transportation, or specialized supply chain solutions.
  • Strong sales and business development background with demonstrated success in revenue growth and strategic account management.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO tank operations, liquid bulk logistics, dangerous goods, and chemical transportation regulations.
  • Proven experience negotiating freight contracts, tank leasing agreements, carrier partnerships, and commercial service arrangements.
  • Deep understanding of global transportation networks, multimodal logistics, carrier management, and international trade dynamics.
  • Strong operational management capabilities with focus on service quality, compliance, and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing sales and operations teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, budgeting, and KPI management.
  • Experience with M&A activities, branch expansion, or regional organizational growth within the logistics industry is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (15%).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
