Technical Sales Analyst

Milacron is looking for a Technical Sales Analyst to join our team in Norcross, Georgia. In this position, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive sales quotations, supporting order execution, providing technical sales expertise, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and ensuring timely resolution of order-related issues.

Work You'll Do

• Prepare detailed sales quotations for the sales organization and customers.
• Develop equipment cost analyses and pricing support for sales proposals.
• Process customer orders and provide required information for order entry and engineering design requests.
• Work closely with the sales team to determine equipment specifications and application requirements.
• Advise and support customers and sales representatives in selecting the appropriate equipment for specific applications.
• Contact vendors to obtain technical information, product specifications, and costing details.
• Communicate effectively with customers, sales personnel, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal stakeholders.
• Track order progress, investigate order-related issues, and expedite orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Relay confirmed ship dates and delivery updates to customers and the sales organization.
• Participate in customer discussions and provide technical sales support when required.
• Assist in the development and improvement of sales tools, processes, and training materials.
• Support the onboarding and training of new specialists as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and applicable experience required.
• 4 years of inside sales experience, including IEP sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with PC-based business applications.
• Experience with Step File Drawings, AutoCAD, DeltaCAD, Drawing Viewer, or similar software.
• Basic plastics processing knowledge.
• Working knowledge of injection molding and extrusion products.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical equipment and applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a specialty product environment.
• Knowledge of technical equipment, plastics, and/or plastics machine parts preferred.
• Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred.
