The Mike Morse Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Attorney with 5 years of experience in PIP litigation to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing plaintiffs in personal injury protection claims, with a proven track record of managing a high-volume caseload, negotiating settlements, and litigating cases through trial when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in PIP-related litigation, from case inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Attend and conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Evaluate case value and develop litigation strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and insurance companies.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with firm standards.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the State of Michigan, in good standing.
- 2 years of experience handling PIP plaintiff cases.
- Strong knowledge of state-specific PIP laws and procedures.
- Excellent litigation, negotiation, and trial skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to client advocacy and achieving favorable outcomes.
