- Valid New York State EMT-Basic certification required
- New York State Driver’s License preferred
- Any and all other requirements for the position as determined by the New York State Department of Health or other regulating agency or statute.
- Provides Basic Life Support (BLS) in compliance with city, state, and organizational procedures
- Be helpful, friendly, and professional throughout all interactions with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more
- Maintain a clean and fully stocked ambulance per NYS DOH requirements, restocking supplies at the end of each shift
