Midwest Land Group is one of the fastest growing land real estate brokerages in the United States. Based out of Overland Park, Kansas, we are rapidly expanding across a 21 state region. Our business model focuses on connecting buyers and sellers of land real estate; primarily on hunting land, farmland, recreational properties and investment properties.
We are seeking a highly-efficient, organized Administrative Assistant looking for long-term employment. The biggest challenge of this role will be to keep our teams organized and always moving forward and being able to multi-task, while being interrupted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and forward inbound calls and emails
- Distribute leads to Agents and Business Development team
- Routine review of text messages & brokerage email accounts
- Tracking and maintaining inventory and mailing of promotional items
- Stocking breakrooms and restrooms
- Prepare shopping list to restock
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness
- Monthly promotional items inventory count
- Set up & clean up for Agent Training sessions
- Manage upcoming agent license renewal notifications
- Create & maintain mailer lists
- Ensure proper insurance coverage required by the brokerage for agents
- Prepare and mail closing packets for the transaction coordinator team
- Vendor partnership entries for client notifications
- Tradeshow booth coordination & maintenance
- Assist with miscellaneous items for each department
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Applicant should possess excellent phone and people skills, show initiative and take great pride in their work.
- Applicant must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Computer proficiency with experience in MS Office (Word, Excel & Publisher), Google Docs and other applicable software.
- 2 years experience as an Administrative Assistant.

- Need to be energetic with a people pleasing demeanor.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to quickly determine the most important priorities among the many urgent needs.
