Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanics, electrical systems, and maintenance procedures. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and systems to ensure optimal plant operations. Candidates with experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, HVAC/R, welding, and industrial electrician work will excel in this position. Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and mechanical parts.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, multimeters (ohmmeters, ammeters), and other precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low/high voltage electrical systems.
- Operate and service HVAC/R units, including HVAC/R troubleshooting and repairs.
- Use welding skills, including
welding techniques, to fabricate or repair equipment components. - Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance records within CMMS software.
- Conduct field service tasks involving the use of scissor lifts or other industrial equipment safely.
- Document maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS system and communicate effectively with team members and customer service teams.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex machinery issues using analysis skills to identify root causes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, low voltage, and other hazardous conditions.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electrician practices, including working with high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (including
welding), HVAC/R systems, and mechanical repairs. - Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, CMMS software, and maintenance management practices.
- Ability to operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with a focus on maintenance or technical service roles.
- Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Military background experience is considered a plus but not required. This position requires candidates to possess strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise to maintain our manufacturing operations effectively.
