METS is currently hiring for a Full-time Office Administrator
JOB TITLE: Office Administrator
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
JOB SUMMARY
The Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the METS corporate office by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This Office Admin supports the company's efficiency and compliance with policies. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the office.
This is a full-time hourly position.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
· Develops and maintains positive working relationships with corporate team and client districts.
· Maintains filing system(s) as assigned.
· Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
· Prepares/distributes various data reports upon request.
· Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
· Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
· Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings. Including taking meeting notes and distributing to staff after meetings.
· Act as the point of contact for internal employees and client districts.
· Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment with vendors.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or related software.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills
· Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping, electronic file systems, etc.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
. High School diploma or equivalent.
· Associate degree in related field preferred.
· Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Office Assistant, or relevant role
· Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
