Position Summary:

METS is growing and we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Field Operations Support Specialist to join our team. The Field Operations Support Specialist serves as the direct line between METS and our client school districts, ensuring prominent levels of customer satisfaction and maintaining the brand reputation through excellent service. The ideal candidate should have pupil transportation experience, excellent communication skills, a customer-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Field Operations Support Specialist will travel to various locations to represent our company and cultivate relationships with customers and our vendor partners. Mainly remote work put traveling to the office is required when the need to do so arises for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

· Establish and maintain positive client relationships by facilitating a company presence within the marketplace that is highly visible to all stakeholders.

· Support account services through on-site visits, email and phone contact to provide guidance & support while creating opportunities to engage clients and METS employees.

· Identify and resolve client concerns and issues, serving as a liaison between client districts and METS corporate team.

· Utilize field report(s) to provide management with information related to customer needs, concerns, interests, and potential for new products and services.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and services, communicate new product and service offerings.

· Partner with the METS corporate Talent Acquisition Team to identify client hiring needs, address turnover concerns, monitor & promote retention goals, and provide support as needed.

· Collaboration and partnership with METS internal teams including; Talent Acquisition, Operations, Payroll, and Human Resources to ensure all METS processes and procedures are adhered to, assisting client districts and employees through changes and implementations, as necessary.

· Keeping accurate records of activities, customer interactions, and regional performance.

· Utilize METS Drives platform and provide METS Drives direction and assistance to District leaders

· Attend conferences, classes, trade shows, regional meetings and other industry events as needed.

· Generate soft leads and partner with METS Operations to assist with sales activities to expand METS services.

· Support METS clients from new account start up and launch in conjunction with the METS corporate office team

· Represent METS in a professional and respectful manner.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

· Excellent communication skills to accurately convey information between METS and our client districts.

· Public speaking with the ability to create & effectively deliver presentations related to company programs, policies and procedures including operational updates.

· Problem-solving skills to identify issues or concerns and develop effective solutions on the spot.

· Interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with client districts, thereby enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction.

· Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, keep track of various projects and meet deadlines.

· Technical knowledge related to DOT & METS to provide accurate and helpful information to client districts.

· Customer service skills to professionally handle queries, complaints and provide assistance, ensuring a positive client experience.

· Physical stamina to travel frequently and work in various environments and conditions.

· Ability to work independently as they often work in the field away from a traditional office environment.

· Previous experience in a regional or district position, with oversight of people and processes. Transportation field is preferred.

Licenses, Certifications, and Requirements

· Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role.

· Proven work experience as a Field Representative or similar role at a district or regional level.

· Experience in providing services to public school districts and/or familiarity with managing school client accounts is preferred.

· Proficiency in English. (Bilingual preferred but not required)

· Excellent negotiation, and communication skills.

· Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

· Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories.

· Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Class B CDL with Air Brake, Passenger and School Bus Endorsements within 60 days of employment.

· Ability to obtain and/or maintain DOT physical and participate in the DOT random drug & Alcohol testing as required by the DOT.

· Must pass a state and Federal Criminal Background check (fingerprint) as required by METS and the district.

· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

· Ability to obtain or maintain state specific certifications/ requirements related to pupil transportation.

· This position is remote with travel required to client districts, METS corporate office and events.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
