What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Pharmacy Operations position at Midwest Compounders Pharmacy?
Required:
• Active Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
• Active pharmacist license in the State of Kansas; Missouri pharmacist licensure strongly
preferred
• 5 years of pharmacy operations management or supervisory experience
• Demonstrated experience managing prescription workflow, staffing models, and
operational performance in a high-throughput pharmacy environment
• Working knowledge of USP <795> and general familiarity with USP <797> and <800>
• Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, policies, and compliance documentation
• Experience managing DEA-regulated controlled substance operations
• Ability to commute to / relocate to Lenexa, KS 66215
Strongly Preferred:
• Experience in a 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with GLP-1, HRT, and functional medicine compounding operations
• Experience with FDA inspection readiness and cGMP expectations in compounding
pharmacies
• Experience in a high-growth pharmacy environment
• Sterile compounding certification (e.g., BCSCP) or willingness to pursue
• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement certification

• Day shift; support for potential staggered and/or weekend shifts as operational needs require

Salary : $140,000 - $250,000
