What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift position at Midway Staffing?
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Location : North Las Vegas
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, disassemble, repair, and reassemble batteries and battery packs
- Diagnose battery issues using electrical test equipment
- Replace faulty components and perform basic battery maintenance
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Prepare battery components for shipping and refurbishment
- Enter maintenance and production data into the CMMS system
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and PPE requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support production goals and complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Up to 2 years of manufacturing, automotive, or technical experience preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (up to 65 lbs. in designated work areas) and work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
