As an RV Technician, you'll diagnose issues, perform repairs, and conduct routine maintenance on diverse RV models, including motorhomes, travel trailers, and camper vans. Duties

• Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on recreational vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, suspension work, alignments, and HVAC system servicing.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex systems such as electrical wiring, automotive electrical systems, transmissions, diesel engines, shocks & struts, and plumbing systems.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Perform assembly of new RV components or equipment repair to ensure vehicles meet safety standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all repairs performed and parts used; communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and quality standards while providing exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a focus on automotive or RV repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, transmissions, HVAC systems, and suspension components.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and performing heavy lifting safely.
• Experience working with automotive electrical systems and plumbing within vehicle contexts is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
