Larger hospital part of a system in need of Radiology Director! Relocation!
Exercises overall supervision of the department. Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and disciplines the employees according to the general personnel policies of the hospital.
- Thorough knowledge of Radiology Departmental functions
- Maintains the performance of the operational aspects while providing mentoring and leadership support
- Delegates appropriate tasks to appropriate personnel, consistent with legal and professional guidelines and departmental standards.
- Demonstrates knowledge and educates staff concerning the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the unit, department, and hospital.
- Identifies appropriate internal controls of department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred
- 5 years technical experience and 2 years management experience.
- Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
- BLS
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
