What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper | Administration Office position at Midland Care Connection, Inc.?
Midland Care Connection
Midland Care Connection is a not-for-profit, community-based organization dedicated to helping older adults and seriously ill individuals stay independent and supported in their homes. Established in 1978, we offer a full continuum of care, including hospice, palliative care, home health, grief and loss counseling, and our signature PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program. Our mission centers on "meeting individual needs through innovative care solutions," and we serve people across multiple counties in northeast Kansas.
Administrative Offices
Midland Care Connection’s administration buildings are designed as part of an integrated healthcare campus rather than standalone corporate offices. Their main headquarters in Topeka serves as the central hub for leadership, human resources, billing, and care coordination, while also being closely connected to clinical services like hospice and patient support. Overall, these spaces emphasize accessibility, comfort, and collaboration by keeping administrative functions closely tied to patient care, reflecting the organization’s focus on community-based, patient-centered services.
Housekeeper
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors. This role includes daily cleaning tasks such as sanitizing offices, restrooms, break areas, and common spaces; emptying trash; vacuuming and dusting; and restocking supplies. The housekeeper follows established cleaning schedules and safety procedures, uses cleaning equipment and products properly, and pays close attention to detail to ensure a professional appearance throughout the facility. By supporting cleanliness and organization, the office housekeeper plays an important role in promoting health, comfort, and a positive experience for everyone at Midland Care Connection.
