Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Product Marketing Manager to join our team. This role will be essential in driving the marketing strategy for our product line across key verticals, including commercial vehicles, mining, and energy storage. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product marketing, strong communication skills, proficiency in social media, and experience in design, battery and automotive experience is a plus. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling content, build our brand presence, and increase market awareness. This position requires excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and the ability to perform duties effectively.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Positioning & Messaging:
Develop and articulate clear, compelling, and differentiated product messaging for our lithium-ion battery products targeted at commercial vehicles, mining, and energy storage markets. -
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Lead the execution of go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions, collaborating with sales, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment across all touchpoints. -
Content Creation & Campaign Management:
Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales. This includes ABM (account-based marketing) programs, social media campaigns, blog posts, product brochures, case studies, and email marketing. -
Social Media & Digital Presence:
Manage our social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.), build a strong online presence, engage with industry stakeholders, and creating content that highlights our product offerings and thought leadership in battery space. -
Market Research & Insights:
Conduct market research and Voice of Customer exercises to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Use insights to optimize product positioning and marketing strategies. -
Design & Visual Communication:
Create or manage the creation of visually appealing marketing materials, presentations, and product documentation. Ensure that all collateral reflects the brand’s identity and values. -
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and leadership teams to gather insights and feedback, ensuring product messaging and positioning are aligned with customer needs and market demands. -
Metrics & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Continuously optimize marketing efforts based on performance data.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in energy, clean tech, or hardware-based industries (automotive, mining, or energy storage a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience within a publicly traded company in U.S.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and marketing tools.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Experience creating compelling visual content and managing design assets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with energy storage, electric vehicles, or lithium-ion battery technology is a plus.
- This is a hands-on position requiring direct involvement in the responsibilities and execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, working independently, and taking ownership of deliverables from start to finish.”

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $120,000 and $185,000/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, equity, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
