This role plays a key part in delivering safe, compliant, and reliable chemical systems for semiconductor manufacturing. As a Chemical Systems Engineer, you’ll guide third‑party design partners, collaborate across fields, and ensure sophisticated chemical delivery systems are delivered to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Manage third‑party design firms developing chemical delivery, storage, and waste management systems
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align designs with facility needs and schedules
- Ensure chemical systems align with codes, industry standards, and Micron safety requirements
- Review and approve engineering work including P&IDs, specifications, calculations, and 3D models
- Support commissioning, testing, and vendor engagement to validate system performance
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in chemical systems engineering
- Experience reviewing engineering designs and technical work
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Navisworks
- Familiarity with construction management tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or Procore
- Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing or high‑purity, high‑hazard facilities
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
- Experience coordinating with external design firms and equipment vendors
- EIT or PE certification
