This role is essential to ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient wastewater treatment operations for both new and existing fabs. As a Facilities Wastewater Engineer, you will influence system design, support construction and commissioning, and partner closely with operations to keep complex treatment systems performing at a high level. You’ll collaborate across engineering, construction, and manufacturing teams while helping shape the long‑term sustainability of our Boise operations.

Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for design, construction, commissioning, and operation of semiconductor wastewater, reclaim, and zero liquid discharge systems
- Review and validate designs, calculations, equipment submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and construction models
- Partner with operations and technicians to monitor system performance using SPC, IoT, and SCADA tools
- Support system modifications, upgrades, solving problems, and vendor coordination
- Drive safety, quality, reliability, and cost improvement initiatives across wastewater systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- Three or more years of experience supporting wastewater or industrial treatment systems
- Working knowledge of safety laws, environmental compliance, and hazardous energy control
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across technical teams
- Master’s degree in engineering or Professional Engineer certification
- Three or more years of facilities or plant operations experience in semiconductor manufacturing
- Experience with commissioning, capacity planning, and system performance optimization
- Experience working with vendors on equipment design, documentation, and service support
