Responsibilities
- Collaboration—Collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers to craft strategies that ensure a robust and efficient supply chain. Work closely with internal clients and Global Procurement to develop category strategies, projects, and contracts.
- Sourcing—Find solutions and services for Facilities Site Services and various service offerings. Follow established processes to carry out RFx activities and implement demand management techniques.
- Strategy—Play a key role in building category strategies to drive savings, value, assurance of supply, quality, and supplier performance within your assigned categories.
- Negotiation—Lead in identifying and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers. Partner with our Legal team to complete contracts, driving alignment with team members and developing negotiation strategies.
- Management—Manage Micron’s relationship with key suppliers, holding them accountable, resolving issues, and improving supplier performance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or similar roles preferred
- Proven experience in negotiations with a willingness to engage in critical conversations and advocate for Micron's interests
- Experience in contract redlining/reviewing, including Service Agreements and Statements of Work
- Strong problem-solving skills with a diligent approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields preferred
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment that requires multitasking with minimal direction
- Prior semiconductor industry experience
