You’ll work on RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and user interfaces that support Micron’s analytics and operational needs. Responsibilities
- Build reliable, scalable data services and front-end applications.
- Design and operate ETL/ELT pipelines and RESTful APIs.
- Develop front-end applications using modern frameworks to visualize data.
- Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to clarify requirements.
- Document designs, write README notes, and follow secure coding practices.
- Pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field; B.S. already completed.
- Solid understanding of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, complexity, and basic networking.
- Ability to solve straightforward problems with guidance and work independently on assigned tasks.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, coding standards, source control, and build pipelines.
- Awareness of secure coding hygiene and IP protection expectations.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or C# (.NET) in team projects.
- Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and observability tools.
- Understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2/OIDC/JWT) and secure coding practices.
- For front-end focused candidates: proficiency in TypeScript and React.
- Knowledge of web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3), responsive layouts, accessibility, and performance optimization (e.g., Core Web Vitals).
