The Facilities Operations HVAC Coordinator is responsible for developing and deploying PLC control strategies for facilities systems, establishing alarm priorities, and analyzing system data to resolve issues. They oversee the startup and testing of new HVAC systems, ensuring proper installation and compliance with design specifications. Additionally, they develop start-up procedures, troubleshoot issues during commissioning, and provide technical support to ensure optimal performance.

The Facilities Operations HVAC Coordinator is responsible for developing and deploying PLC control strategies for facilities systems, establishing alarm priorities, and analyzing system data to resolve issues. They oversee the startup and testing of new HVAC systems, ensuring proper installation and compliance with design specifications. Additionally, they develop start-up procedures, troubleshoot issues during commissioning, and provide technical support to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work environment by completing all required safety training, following safety and environmental policies, and stopping work when unsafe conditions or behaviors are identified.
- Develop, review, and maintain job-specific documentation—including JHAs, PTPs, SOWs, SOOs, and related procedures—to support safe and compliant operations.
- Align with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, including the accurate use of PPE, lockout/tagout (CoHE), and chemical handling requirements, while promptly reporting EHS concerns.
- Lead and support continuous improvement and quality initiatives to reduce operational impacts, increase efficiency, and drive cost savings across facilities and processes.
- Review facility designs and standards to ensure alignment with manufacturer requirements, engineering best practices, and internal company guidelines.
- Coordinate with Construction, SCADA, and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate program information, technical alignment, and effective project execution.
- Apply project management methodologies to develop, prioritize, and manage projects, ensuring delivery within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Operations, Maintenance, SCADA, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other teams, including interpretation of blueprints and construction documents, and participation in benchmarking and TPM activities.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3 years of experience in an HVAC environment.
- 3 years in a supervisory or coordinating role in a facilities environment.
- Associate or bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of experience in a HVAC environment.
- Journeyman HVAC license.
- 3 years in a supervisory or coordinating role in semiconductor manufacturing.
- 3 years of experience in instrumentation and controls
