Position Title: Barista
Department: Café Manager: Head Chef
Tier Level: 15 FLSA: Non-Exempt

Essential Functions:
- Cook menu items and prepare drinks, ensuring that beverages are delivered efficiently as ordered, while maintaining high quality and timeliness.
- Prepare drinks for the day’s menu, including preparing ingredients.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with coworkers and customers.
- Cross-train in all areas of Ruggero’s café and bistro.
- Comply with nutrition and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Knowledge of Food Health and Safety required.
Previous Work Experience:
- Experience in restaurant or food preparation preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently move about the café and use kitchen equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to stand continuously for eight hours or more.
Skills and Abilities:
