Quality Inspector

Job Description

• Able to read and interpret detailed technical drawings and schematics.
• Skilled in using a variety of inspection tools and measurement equipment.
• Performs thorough visual and dimensional inspections of mechanical parts and assemblies to ensure precision standards are met.
• Detects and documents defects, deviations, or non-conformances in materials, workmanship, and documentation. Reports issues to the Quality team for corrective action.
• Knowledgeable in quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent.
• Oversees and executes inspection procedures, acting as a quality liaison with customers when required. Completes all necessary inspection documentation.
• Reviews customer specifications and ensures compliance. Maintains and updates quality records, including material and process certifications.
• Conducts first article inspections and other quality reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Industrial Technology or related field, or 6–8 years of equivalent experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
