Job Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for all activities related to incoming and outgoing inventory and finished goods movement, including ensuring all transactions are accurately transacted in the ERP system and logistic websites, keeping area clean and organized, accurately processing pack slips and partnering closely with the Supply Chain Team and Production.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee all activities related to receiving goods and shipping finished product, including international transactions.
· Supervise department and mentor staff, to include recruitment, training, performance management and time and attendance administration.
· Partner closely with Supply Chain team to develop effective strategies to gain efficiencies in the shipping and receiving processes.
· Assist with inspecting incoming shipments for damage.
· Unload, inspect and accept incoming shipments, comparing contents against purchase orders (POs) and packing slips and resolve receiving discrepancies.
· Prepare, pack and label outgoing orders, select carriers, coordinate schedules and ensure on-time delivery.
· Resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, or shortages with carriers and buyers.
· Utilize the ERP system to accurately complete all transactions and ensure inventory records are accurate.
· Optimize warehouse locations, including organizing and maintaining stock locations and creating new locations as needed.
· Work with purchasing and Taiwan office to obtain necessary documentation from suppliers.
· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement using LEAN principles.
· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Five years of shipping and receiving experience.
· Demonstrated computer skills working with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
· Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated ability to accurately enter inventory transactions into ERP system.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree in business or related field.
· Previous Lead or Supervisory experience.

· May be exposed to high noise levels for short amounts of time when working near manufacturing equipment. Noise levels range between 70-90 decibels (hearing protection provided).
