- Teach undergraduate and graduate mechanical and aerospace engineering courses.
- Lead and/or advise student teams in Sr. Design or Enterprise.
- Department duties may include service on committees, conducting outreach activities, and assisting with department assessment responsibilities.
- PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field.
- Classroom teaching experience.
- Expertise in mechanical and/or aerospace engineering or a closely related field.
- Teaching mechanical and/or aerospace engineering courses on a variety of topics.
- Ability to teach a range of mechanical and/or aerospace engineering topics
- Ability to advise a Sr. Design or Enterprise team.
- Project management or Systems engineering experience.
- Ability to use a learning management system to manage course schedules and teaching materials.
- Demonstrated success in, or potential future contributions to, working with persons with a wide variety of personal characteristics and viewpoints.
The work environment is that of a typical office and/or classroom setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
