Responsibilities
- Assist with fleet vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance scheduling
- Coordinate repairs, oil changes, tires, registrations, and service appointments
- Monitor vehicle conditions, maintenance records, and fleet documentation
- Learn and utilize company fleet management software and computer systems
- Assist with GPS tracking, vehicle records, reporting, and inventory management
- Communicate with drivers, vendors, service providers, and repair facilities
- Maintain organized fleet files, maintenance history, and compliance records
- Perform light facility maintenance and handyman duties, including but not limited to:
- Replacing light bulbs, Replacing air filters, Minor door and hardware repairs, Basic facility upkeep and organization
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and operational readiness of fleet and facility areas
- Support day-to-day fleet and facilities operations as needed
- Basic mechanical and automotive knowledge required
- General handyman or maintenance experience preferred
- Comfortable using computers, apps, email, and software programs
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and manage schedules effectively
- Ability to learn company policies and procedures quickly
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors as needed
- Experience with fleet management, facilities maintenance, automotive service, or transportation operations is a plus
- Preventative maintenance programs and vehicle inspections
- Fleet service scheduling or vehicle tracking systems
- Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, or basic data entry
- General building or facility maintenance
