The following position for the 2025-2026 school year is available:
Position: Custodian
Employment: PCMI West is seeking dependable, high-energy candidates for a full-time custodial position assigned to the Freeland Community School District. This position is based at Freeland High School, primarily focused on the athletics area—the busiest area in the district. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe environment, completing regular custodial tasks, and performing daily set-ups for athletic and community events. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and remain efficient in a fast-paced environment with frequent events and schedule changes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to work independently
- Punctual with good attendance record
- Responds to staff requests/concerns in a timely manner
- Professional and courteous when interacting with co-workers, students and the public
- Performs work necessary to maintain the building and grounds in an acceptable condition
Pre-Hire Requirements:
- Background Check
- Physical & Drug Screening
Rate of Pay: $18.30 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3-11pm during the school year, day-shift during the summer
