My client is a growing, US Manufacturer of high precision products. They are seeking a strategic, VP of Operations to join their company and lead the scaling of their teams and overall output of products.
Description
The VP of Operations will:
- Lead all operational functions, including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, logistics, and inventory management.
- Translate company strategy into actionable operational plans with clear KPIs and accountability.
- Build and manage high‑performing teams while fostering a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee precision manufacturing operations and drive lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization initiatives.
- Manage capital equipment planning, automation enhancements, and production flow optimization.
- Own the operational cost structure and drive reductions in COGS while maintaining product quality.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
- Partner with Finance to improve margins and assess ROI on operational investments.
- Lead sourcing strategy, supplier performance management, and raw material availability.
- Improve inventory turns, planning accuracy, and working capital utilization.

Profile
A successful VP of Operations should have the following qualifications:
- 12 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, including senior‑level roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field required.
- Background in precision machining, metal fabrication, or regulated production environments; industry‑specific experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in scaling operations, implementing lean initiatives, and leading capital investment programs.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing economics, operational KPIs, and cost modeling.
- Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and executive decision‑making capabilities.

Salary : $170,000 - $185,000
