Job Description
- Manage daily onsite activities for commercial upfits or ground‑up multifamily projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, logistics, inspections, QC, and jobsite sequencing.
- Maintain and update project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Utilize Project Site (Tremble Project) for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Conduct daily reports, photos, and weekly progress meetings with PMs and owners.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, compliance standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain clean, organized, efficient job sites and address challenges proactively.
- Represent the company professionally while building strong relationships with clients and trade partners.
- Travel full‑time to active projects; housing and per diem provided.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Traveling Superintendent Commercial Upfits Should Have
- Experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial upfit or multifamily ground‑up construction.
- Ground‑up multifamily experience (preferably affordable housing) is highly valued.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to run job sites independently with minimal oversight.
- Tech‑savvy and proficient with construction software; experience with Procore‑like platforms is a plus.
- Stable work history; strong references required for candidates with transitions.
- Willing and able to travel across multiple states for full project durations.
- Competitive salary ranging from USD 80.000 to USD 100.000.
