Job Description
- Lead all on-site construction operations for ground‑up big box retail projects
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site teams from mobilization through closeout
- Maintain and drive project schedules in fast-track construction environments
- Oversee site logistics, sequencing, and coordination of large-scale trades
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality and specification requirements
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align schedule, cost, and execution
- Manage daily reporting, look-ahead schedules, and project documentation
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain progress

The Successful Applicant
- 5-10 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Proven experience delivering ground‑up big box retail projects (e.g., large-format retail stores)
- Strong understanding of site development, slab-on-grade, tilt-wall, and large building sequencing
- Experience managing fast-track, high-volume construction schedules
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain productivity
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
