Job Description
- Lead day‑to‑day site operations for K‑12 and public-sector construction projects throughout Rhode Island.
- Oversee subcontractors, scheduling, safety, logistics, and quality control to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners to maintain communication and resolve field issues.
- Manage project phasing and sequencing, especially for occupied or multi‑phase school renovations.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with RI subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.
- Report daily progress, maintain site documentation, and support forecasting and planning.
- Lead site meetings, coordinate deliveries, and troubleshoot construction challenges proactively.

The Successful Applicant
- 5 years as a Superintendent, with experience leading ground‑up and renovation projects.
- Strong background in academic/public sector work K‑12 experience strongly preferred.
- Deep familiarity with the Rhode Island construction market: local subs, suppliers, engineers, inspectors, permitting, etc.
- Proven ability to manage multimillion‑dollar projects independently.
- Exceptional communication, planning, and leadership skills.
- OSHA certification; construction-related technical training or trade background preferred.
