Family owned & operated General Contractor, based in RI, is looking for a Superintendent to join their team!

They specialize in both ground up and renovation projects throughout RI across Federal/Public, Public K-12 Schools, & Commercial sectors between $1M - $20M

Job Description

The Superintendent is responsible for:

• Overseeing & managing Large Public Academic projects from start through completion
• Ensuring high-quality, safe, and clean work that meets projects schedules and budgets
• Coordinating & collaborating with necessary project parties
• Leading site personnel, providing guidance to ensure the highest levels of safety, productivity, and performance
• Developing relationships with clients, and maintaining open lines of communication
• Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all individuals involved in the project
• Upholding company image / professionalism

The Successful Applicant

The Right Candidate Has The Following Qualifications

• 5 years (minimum) experience as a Superintendent with a GC
• Very comfortable running Public, Academic, Commercial projects $1M-$50M start to finish
• Commutable to RI area - familiar with working in this market
• Good relationships with RI suppliers, subcontractors, architects, engineers, etc.
• Thorough understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, construction means and method, materials, survey methods & overall construction planning and cost control
• OSHA 10 certification required, OSHA 30 preferred
