Job Description

• Develop proposals for automation, mechanization, specialized tooling, and manufacturing methods.
• Conduct studies on new and complex components, including time, cost, and manufacturability assessments.
• Evaluate new equipment for production suitability and prepare recommendations for leadership.
• Collaborate with product design, tooling, quality, and production engineering teams to optimize manufacturability.
• Provide training and guidance to colleagues on manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Prepare process documentation, reports, test summaries, and maintain relevant project records.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience with mechanical or machine design principles.
• CAD proficiency, ideally with SolidWorks.
• Understanding of machinery, linkages, pressure vessels, and precision fits/tolerances.
• Project management experience and the ability to support multiple programs simultaneously.
