Job Description
- Serve as a strategic HR partner to site leadership, fostering trust, accountability, and high performance.
- Lead full‑cycle talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning for the facility.
- Manage complex employee relations cases and conduct thorough investigations.
- Interpret, maintain, and refine site‑wide HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations and reporting requirements.
- Partner with EHS on Workers' Compensation and Disability case management.
- Lead preparation of annual compliance reports, including AAP documentation.
- Support union‑related activities and contract negotiation processes.
- Drive employee engagement, internal communications, and community outreach efforts.
- Mentor junior HR staff and strengthen HR processes across the site.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior HR Generalist Should Have
- A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5 years of progressive HR experience across employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred.
- Union environment experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Confidence, presence, excellent communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM‑CP/SCP preferred; First Aid/CPR a plus.
- Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 USD annually.
