The client is a real estate developer headquartered out of Maine with projects throughout New England. They are urgently seeking an assistant superintendent in Maine and will provide housing to candidates if needed.
Job Description
- Support the Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction site activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes at all times.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project schedules and assist in resolving delays or issues that arise on-site.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets the required standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and project managers.
- Assist in managing site resources and ensuring efficient use of labor and materials.
