Job Description

• Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts on large commercial projects across multiple sectors.
• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates, including GMP development.
• Support CM at Risk (CMR) project delivery, collaborating early with owners and design teams.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost modeling, scope analysis, and subcontractor bid leveling.
• Lead value engineering, constructability reviews, and cost optimization discussions.
• Coordinate with project executives, operations leaders, and project management teams for smooth project handoffs.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and pricing benchmarks.
• Participate in client presentations and preconstruction interviews as needed.
• Support and mentor junior estimating staff as the team continues to grow.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Senior Estimator/Preconstruction Manager Should Have

• 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager with a general contractor.
• Proven background estimating large‑scale commercial projects.
• Experience across sectors such as education, healthcare, public works, or sports/entertainment is preferred but not required.
• CMR experience is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative communicator who works well within lean, fast‑moving teams.
• Desire to grow into expanded leadership as the company continues to scale.
