Projects are concentrated within a one‑hour radius of the office, allowing teams to stay closely connected to the work and each other.
Job Description
- Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop complete and competitive estimates
- Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs, labour analyses, and full project budgets
- Solicit, analyse, level, and de‑scope subcontractor and vendor bids
- Lead coordination with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Vendors during pre‑construction
- Participate in site walks and pre‑bid meetings as required
- Ensure bid packages are accurate, complete, and aligned with scope and schedule
- Track budget risks, value‑engineering opportunities, and cost variances
- Support pre‑construction leadership with presentations and select business development efforts
The Successful Applicant
- 5 years of experience in construction estimating or pre‑construction
- Strong background in commercial, industrial, and self‑performed construction
- Proven ability to independently produce full project estimates
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred)
- Construction Supervisor's Licence (preferred)
- Proficiency with On‑Screen Takeoff and ProEst (required)
- Experience with Procore (strongly preferred)
- Valid driver's licence and ability to attend local site visits
- Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 (exempt, full‑time)
