The Safety Manager plays a highly visible role, working directly with project leadership to maintain an industry‑leading safety record.

Job Description

The Safety Manager will lead all safety initiatives for a major casino and resort project located in Richmond, VA.

• Serve as the primary Safety Manager for a large, active casino construction site
• Implement and enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards
• Conduct daily site walks, safety audits, and hazard assessments
• Lead subcontractor safety orientations and ongoing safety training
• Facilitate toolbox talks and project‑wide safety meetings
• Investigate incidents and near misses; implement corrective actions
• Partner closely with superintendents and project managers to embed safety into daily operations
• The Safety Manager will set the tone for a proactive, people‑first safety culture on site

The Successful Applicant

• Experience as a Safety Manager on large‑scale commercial construction projects
• Proven ability to lead safety efforts on complex, high‑manpower jobsites
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
• Confident communicator capable of enforcing standards across subcontractors
• Able to be primarily site‑based in Richmond, VA
