Job Description
- Lead and manage all site safety programmes, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple projects
- Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions for staff and subcontractors
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and hazards, implementing corrective actions
- Maintain and update safety documentation, policies, and reporting systems
- Partner with project managers and site teams to proactively identify risks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the company's safety culture
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in a Safety Manager or similar role within construction
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands-on approach
- Ability to work across multiple sites within Southern Maine
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30 , CHST, CSP) are preferred
