Description
- Implement, manage, and continuously improve site-wide safety programs and policies
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the facility
- Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, driving corrective actions
- Deliver engaging safety training to associates at all levels of the organization
- Maintain accurate records for incidents, training, inspections, and compliance reporting
- Act as a point of contact for emergency response planning and drills
- Partner with production and leadership teams to identify hazards and improve processes
- Ensure correct use, availability, and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment
- Track, analyze, and report safety metrics to senior leadership
- Champion a proactive, people-first safety culture on the factory floor
- Support the integration of Lean principles into safety programs
- Help standardize safety documentation, inspections, and reporting workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and contribute to structured root cause and preventive action plans
Profile
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2-4 years of safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA and applicable safety regulations
- Confident communicator with strong training and presentation skills
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or CSP
