The Legal Recruiting Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the recruitment process for summer associates, ensuring the firm attracts and hires top-tier talent. This position requires a strong understanding of the legal industry and experience coordinating summer programs.

Description

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for summer associates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with law schools, legal networks, and recruitment agencies to source top talent.
  • Organize and participate in on-campus interviews and recruitment events to attract prospective candidates.
  • Maintain and manage applicant tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Collaborate with the human resources team to support onboarding and integration of new hires.

Profile

A successful Legal Recruiting Specialist should have:

  • A strong understanding of the legal industry and its recruitment practices (legal recruiting experience required).
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with candidates and internal teams effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A bachelor's degree (required).
  • Ability to work hybrid in Washington, DC.
