Job Description
- Supervise 2nd shift production operations and hourly employees
- Ensure production goals for safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency are met
- Assign work, manage staffing, and balance workloads across production lines
- Enforce safety procedures, company policies, and work standards
- Monitor production metrics and address performance gaps
- Troubleshoot production issues and escalate as needed
- Partner with quality to address defects, rework, and corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to resolve equipment or process issues
- Train, coach, and develop production employees and leads
- Conduct shift handoffs and communicate status to leadership
- Support Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant
A Successful Production Supervisor 2nd Shift Should Have
- 3-7 years of manufacturing or production leadership experience
- Prior supervisory experience in a production environment
- Strong people leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing safety, quality, and productivity metrics
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make real‑time decisions
- Comfortable working 2nd shift in a hands‑on environment
- Experience in high‑volume or regulated manufacturing
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement tools
- Background in electronics, mechanical assembly, or complex manufacturing
