Job Description
As a Construction Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of custom home builds-managing vendors, schedules, client walkthroughs, and quality to ensure every home meets the highest standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage construction of custom homes across Arlington, Falls Church, Vienna, and Bethesda
- Schedule and coordinate all trade partners while ensuring exceptional workmanship
- Oversee project budgets and monitor progress on multiple active homes
- Lead client walkthroughs (pre‑drywall, pre‑settlement) and educate clients on expectations
- Manage warranty and customer service issues once homes are completed
- Attend weekly staff meetings at the McLean office (Wednesdays)
- Operate autonomously-running your projects without micromanagement
- Use BuilderTrend software to track schedules, progress, and documentation
