Description
- Maintain and update the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Review design documentation to verify adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement standards, procedures, and methodologies for inspection, testing, and evaluation of products and components.
- Plan and oversee activities related to the analysis, inspection, design verification, testing, and integration of products to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools to analyze quality data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Make informed decisions regarding product acceptance and continued supplier relationships based on quality performance.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs in collaboration with department managers to ensure key personnel are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Act as the primary quality assurance resource for supervisors and operational teams, providing guidance and support on quality-related matters.
- Design and implement process control and continuous improvement initiatives, as well as methods for testing and inspection throughout production.
- Lead the development and execution of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address nonconformities and prevent recurrence.
- Define and enforce supplier quality requirements, including ongoing performance monitoring.
- Conduct both internal and external quality audits to assess compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation.
Profile
- Bachelor Degree is preferred
- Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001 is sufficient
- Experience writing and implementing quality documentation and procedures
- Experience conducting FAI and PPAPs
- Experience with root cause analysis and CAPAs
- Experience with auditing
- Supplier experience preferred
- Testing experience (pressure testing, fluid testing, etc)
