Job Description
- Lead and maintain a robust Quality Management System aligned with ISO standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, efficiency, and process optimization
- Own supplier quality, including audits, performance metrics, and corrective actions
- Partner with engineering and production to resolve process and quality issues
- Use SPC and data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
- Develop SOPs, work instructions, and control plans to support manufacturing operations
- Train and mentor teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices
- Act as a technical liaison with vendors and third‑party partners
- Ensure ongoing compliance with customer and regulatory quality requirements
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline
- 5 years of quality or process engineering experience in manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems
- Hands‑on experience with Lean manufacturing principles
- Proven analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- CQE or similar certification
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Six Sigma tools and value stream mapping
- Spanish language skills preferred
- Advanced data analysis or QMS software experience
- Visible leadership role with influence across the organization
