Job Description
- Develop and edit CMM programs using PC-DMIS (required) and MCOSMOS for precision machined components
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to establish inspection strategies
- Design and implement fixturing, tooling, and setups for accurate and repeatable measurements
- Conduct inspection reviews to ensure compliance with customer drawings and technical requirements
- Perform MSA and Gage R&R to validate measurement system accuracy
- Partner with engineering, machining, and quality teams to support NPI and drive process improvements
The Successful Applicant
- Engineering degree preferred Must be a U.S. citizen
- 5 years of hands-on PC-DMIS CMM programming experience (REQUIRED)
- Strong expertise in GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection methodologies
- Background in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems
- Proficiency with statistical tools such as Minitab or SPC
