- Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee subcontractors and field personnel, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve design and construction challenges.
- Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship and address any issues promptly.
- Manage project resources efficiently, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment among team members and subcontractors.
The Successful Applicant
- 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
- Must have construction experience in the ground-up commercial space
- Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
- Ability to utilize technology such as Procore for day-to-day processes
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
- Desire to stay local in Louisiana
