Our client is an established Mid Atlantic General Contractor and Construction Management firm with nearly 30 years of experience delivering projects across healthcare, higher education, life sciences, industrial, retail, and historic markets.

They are a privately held, owner led company generates approximately $60M in annual revenue and employs around 90 professionals across the region. The firm specializes in Construction Management, General Contracting, Design Build, and Preconstruction services, with projects throughout Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.

Project experience includes complex renovations, tenant improvements, and ground up construction for nationally recognized institutions and organizations.

Known for its strong safety culture, technical expertise, collaborative leadership, and client first approach, the company offers the resources of a larger contractor while maintaining the agility and culture of a midsize firm.

Job Description

The Project Manager - Commercial Projects - MD will be responsible for:

• Assisting with budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management
• Coordinating RFIs, submittals, and document control
• Supporting scheduling and procurement activities
• Participating in owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
• Helping ensure quality, safety, and schedule compliance on site
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors and internal teams

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager - Commercial Projects - MD should have:

• 5 years of project management experience with a general contractor
• Experience working on projects $5M
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Apps or other related construction management software
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred
