Job Description

The Project Manager - Commercial Interiors - Washington, DC will be responsible for:

  • Take full responsibility for developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules from start to finish
  • Oversee all project financials, including issuing, negotiating, and executing client‑facing change orders
  • Lead OAC meetings with confidence-setting agendas, documenting minutes, tracking action items, and aligning stakeholders
  • Manage interiors projects across office, retail, restaurant, education, government, and specialty spaces ranging from $1M-$20M
  • Utilize Procore's Financial Management tools to manage budgets, commitments, forecasts, and documentation
  • Balance high‑level project strategy with hands‑on administrative oversight to keep projects on time and on budget
  • Navigate both private and DC government project processes effectively

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Commercial Interiors - Washington, DC should have:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing interiors construction projects as a Project Manager
  • Demonstrated ability to independently take ownership of schedule development and schedule updates
  • Proven experience managing cost control, financial workflows, and client‑facing change orders
  • Experience leading OAC meetings with minimal oversight
  • Hands‑on proficiency with Procore Financial Management
  • Comfortable managing a diverse mix of project types and client profiles
