Job Description
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of multiple commercial construction projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
- Coordinate preconstruction activities, including estimating, bidding, procurement, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including cost forecasting and financial reporting.
- Monitor project expenses, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with contract requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to optimize expenditures.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Address any construction issues or unforeseen conditions with prompt and effective solutions.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure that all workers are trained on job site safety procedures.
- Work closely with inspectors, permitting agencies, and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance.
The Successful Applicant
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven experience managing projects in the K-12, hospitality, medical, or higher education sectors.
- OSHA 30 & ProCore Certifications
