Job Description
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontractor agreements, and procurement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on project status, risks, costs, and schedule milestones.
- Coordinate field operations, subcontractor performance, and material procurement to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and process change orders, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and project documentation.
- Monitor project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and budget management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control requirements, and company procedures.
- Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.
The Successful Applicant
- 7 years of experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
- Experience managing client relationships and coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across all project stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage project documentation, financial reporting, and project controls.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and able to take ownership of projects from inception through completion.
