Our client is a mid-size General Contractor that has a strong background of projects in the commercial sector, especially healthcare.
Job Description
- Manage construction projects from start to finish
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors
- Work closely with estimating team to update budget
- Keep detailed log of construction documentation including (RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders)
- Updating required AIA documentation
- Tracking project milestones and reporting and issues to senior leadership
- Working closely with Site Superintendent to ensure project is running on time
- Develop comprehensive construction schedule
- Monitor costs, including labor time and material
- Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
The Successful Applicant
- 4 year Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar degree
- 8 years of Commercial Construction Experience as Project Manager
- Healthcare Construction Experience (REQUIRED)
- AHCA Inspection experience (PREFERRED)
- Experience with ProCore or similar software
- OSHA-30 Certification preferred
- Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
